A spin-off of the FAVITE Incorporated, CAMELS VT was founded as Taiwan's first manufacturer of industrial linescan cameras in 2004. CAMELS VT moved in Hsinchu Science Park (HSP) in May 2008 and setup its factory for production. At first it was purely a component company, building cameras and imaging subsystems in the machine vision sector.
